Tim Searles, founder and President of The Rowing Repair Center, spent 28 years in his native Connecticut refining the craft of wood restoration, including period furniture, historic buildings, classic sailing and power craft, and rowing shells. Shortly after moving to Oak Ridge, TN, he joined the Oak Ridge Rowing Association and recognized the need for professional rowing shell repairs. In order to serve the needs of the rowing community, Tim launched The Rowing Repair Center in November 2000, just 3 miles from the Official USRowing Class A race course on Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, TN. |
